He said:
"Prior to February 2006, the last time that I had my portraits done was at Christmas 2001. Back then, I wore my hair differently than I do now, and I was clean-shaven; I'd also worn a shirt, tie and jacket, per Mom's request. When I got my portraits done in February 2006, I wanted to show my new hairstyle, which I have sported since March 2004; I also wanted to show my goatee. My choice of apparel for the new portraits reflect my dress-clothes side (my white turtleneck), as well as my casual side (my blue denim shirt, black jeans, and my boots [not seen in this shoot]."

The Snapshot
"This picture of me was taken at my grandparents' house on June 11, 2006 -- the Sunday after my birthday. I had shaved my goatee off for my birthday, but it was starting to grow back when this picture was taken. My age is in the background: it also happens to be my grandparents' house number. The Giants shirt that I wore for this picture is 13 1/2 years old; I retired the shirt after that day."
